This hotel was right off the expressway in the small town of Whitehall, Michigan. First off, when we checked in at $100 a night (!) the front desk clerk couldn't figure out how to make keys, so the maintenance guy came to let us in our room.
The room was awful, hadn't been touched for years, dirty, the bathtub hadn't been caulked for years either.
I was worried about bedbugs or something it was so bad. Didn't even shower when we got up. Just left. What a waste of money.

Just needed a room to accomodate a family of 5 for an overnight trip to Michigan's Adventure. According to the website my room was to have accommodations for 6
(2 Bdr Suite, $189+tax). We had a king bed, and a sofabed. The room was dated and
needed minor repairs. The toilet, tv & A/C worked fine. Not the cleanest.
This area of MI is heavily traveled during summer months - very hard to get a room anywhere on the west coast of Michigan.Next time however, I will camp or stay in Grand Rapids. Complimentary breakfast was ok, very crowded.

This hotel is acceptable for the price. It is close to everything and easily accessable from freeway. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful, they recommened Harbor View Grill to eat which was great. Good breakfast variety in morning and pool was a bonus. It's not the Hilton, but I didn't pay Hilton prices either! Would stay again.

I would NEVER EVER STAY AT THIS FACILITY. THEY TOOK MY CASH AND THEY CHARGED MY BANK CARD AS WELL for a one night stay. I was not given a receipt as is the policy for this facility. So they told me there was nothing that they could even do about it. however they recently just fired the same girl that stole my money. What kind of BS is that. The staff there is very unprofessional. As of today I am contacting the police to help assist me with this matter. I will repost for further updates. I will not stop until I get justice. It is not about the money but the principle. Justice will be served. WHOEVER STAYED HERE AND USED A CARD OR PAID CASH BUT RESERVED WITH A CARD CHECK YOUR BALANCE NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. i WAS NOT AWARE UNTIL I WAS BEING RACKED WITH INSUFFICIENT FUND FEES 2 WEEKS AFTER STAYING HERE.
