I stayed here one night for business and I won't stay here again unless absolutely necessary. This is the type of Courtyard by Marriott where you potentially can have a very long and inconvenient walk down and around hallways to get to your room from the elevator. Not all Courtyards have this set up. The room was not as clean as what I would have liked it to be and the hotel is in need of updating. I travel all the time for work and this was the first time that I had a bad experience with the housekeeping staff. I accidentally left my wireless mouse in the room on the desk and the hotel did not return it to me. I called after checking out to say that I left the item in the room and they said they would notify housekeeping and that someone would call me. No one called and so I followed up again the next day and had to re explain the situation because they had no record of it. Again, no one returned my call and so finally I called the General Manager and reported the incident to her. I assume that housekeeping just threw the wireless mouse away or kept it one of the two because I was unable to get it back.

My fiance' and I had to find a room Labor Day weekend due to the storm Oakland County had that shut our lights off for three days. Since all of the other hotels in our area were booked, we had to drive to this Courtyard. I checked out the reviews first and we were very happy with our 3-day stay! The hotel was very clean, nice updates, fairly quiet and we didn't have any complaints with the staff. (By the way, I'm a VERY picky person when it comes to staying at hotels so I made it my business to come and post positive comments about this hotel.)

Maybe it was me - but, I didn't see many green spaces while doing business in Warren, MI - which is why, I especially appreciated the floral garden at the hotel. Lovely courtyard - hence the name of the hotel. Nice size gym, pool and whirlpool. My only complaint was that the walls in the hotel were paper thin: One morning I woke up hearing the person above me taking a shower. All in all, very pleased with the hotel - and if, I find myself doing business in Warren, would stay here again.
