stayed in area for a Weeding : Friendly staff, clean, reasonable priced and a nice breakfast

My fiance' and I had to find a room Labor Day weekend due to the storm Oakland County had that shut our lights off for three days. Since all of the other hotels in our area were booked, we had to drive to this Courtyard. I checked out the reviews first and we were very happy with our 3-day stay! The hotel was very clean, nice updates, fairly quiet and we didn't have any complaints with the staff. (By the way, I'm a VERY picky person when it comes to staying at hotels so I made it my business to come and post positive comments about this hotel.)

Maybe it was me - but, I didn't see many green spaces while doing business in Warren, MI - which is why, I especially appreciated the floral garden at the hotel. Lovely courtyard - hence the name of the hotel. Nice size gym, pool and whirlpool. My only complaint was that the walls in the hotel were paper thin: One morning I woke up hearing the person above me taking a shower. All in all, very pleased with the hotel - and if, I find myself doing business in Warren, would stay here again.

Picked this hotel for its proximity to hockey games with my son's teams. Arrival check-in was a very pleasant experience. The front desk staff was warm, welcoming, and did not forget to mention my membership status with Marriott. Having been to some of the worse hotels in Detroit area, this hotel seems to be quite safe. Olive Garden Restaurant is just one block away. The only downside of this hotel is the facility's age. It has seen its years and the older design means that noise penetrated through the walls. At 12 mid night, we can practically hear the entire phone conversation of my next door neighbor (who happened like to talk). Not the staff's fault but a good sleep finally came when the guy hang up :-).
