We stayed here for the holiday weekend and it was a good hotel for the price. The rooms are very large and the section sofa is also a pull-out sleeper too. The pool was a bit disappointing, there is no to tub and the seating around it is sparse, with no lounges, only chairs.

The breakfast was a surprising freebie, but I am not sure that this hotel has a firm grasp on serving food. The selection was dismal, and the employees started packing up the offerings before 10 each morning, even when there were people still trying to serve themselves. The counter service you paid extra for was horrible as well. They charged over $3 for the type of waffle you usually make yourself at other hotels and it was somehow stale. It tasted like it was a reheated leftover. The other snacks were no better, and the pizza was bad too.

Also, we had no maid service during our entire stay. We stayed three nights and I can understand being understaffed on the holiday, but we also did not have our room serviced on saturday either. Clean towels would have been very nice.

Overall, the rooms are spacious. It's a nice place if your traveling with family, but I would goto the McDonald's or coney island across the street instead of trying to eat at the hotel. The staff was great, but the food was horrible.

very close to shopping malls and the highway, this hotel has good, friendly staff. the property is well cared for and the rooms comfortable and spacious. Carpets and furniture in the rooms are just starting to get that tired loom but still acceptable.

1) Location: Perfect for being very close to Lakeside Mall and places to eat. About a 40 minute drive from Sarnia Ontario.
2) Staff was helpful in every way.
3) Rooms were clean but our room was on the 5th floor and was in need of an overhaul. Carpet was stained badly, couch was marked and stained.
4) Price was good for the area. Around $90 per night. Could be a little less expensive across the road at the LaQuinta.
Note Of Caution: We booked online using a cheap hotel search engine. Got the room secured with my credit card, well at least I thought that was the case. When we arrived at 8:00 pm we were told that they were overbooked!!!!
I said I had booked with my credit card and I have a reservation, the desk clerk said yes but it is "first come first served". Lucky for me I got there ahead of others and I got my room.
In the future I will call ahead and make sure they have my room reserved. Don't count on having a room reserved online. It's not, call the hotel directly and be sure your room will be there for you.

My husband and I came for a long weekend. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was gorgeous, there was a comfortable bed and great television. It is located near lots of great shopping so I could go out shopping by myself while my husband relaxed in the room. The room was spacious and included a fridge. We were just there November 11th and have already booked to go back. The price was very reasonable for the quality of hotel. The place was very clean. There is a continental breakfast which was ok. More variety would be great. Overall, though, we were really happy with the Hyatt!
