We have stayed at this Hotel on many occasions and never had a problem. The Managers Receptions is great as well as the breakfast!!

The Staff is excellent. The one Staff member Rosa is OUTSTANDING!!she makes everybody welcome she is a breath of fresh air when you have travelled some distance. Thanks for everything.

Came back to this hotel in December and it is as what I would expect from Embassy. Huge rooms and welcoming staff when you enter the building. It is our third time staying here already and yet we still have no complaints about this hotel. All the necessary facilities are there (i.e., swimming pool, workout room, business room, etc.). Beds are nice and comfortable and rooms were spacious. Although they aren't situated in the best place, it wouldn't matter because the nearest shopping center is approximately 10 minutes away.

Since we went down during the Boxing day weekend, breakfast got really crowded in the mornings but the lounge was big enough to hold everyone in.

Aside from Internet needed to be paid for when you use, there would be nothing that I would need to criticize.

Stayed here 2 nights in January 2012. This was my 3rd stay in this excellent hotel. Check in was efficient. All rooms open to a stunning 8-story atrium lobby. Two room suites have a living room and a spacious, separate, quiet, very comfortable bedroom. This is not a new hotel, but they do a very good job of keeping it nice. Towels, beds and bedding were very nice. And this Embassy Suites has the best hotel breakfast I have ever had, with a chef making wonderful omlets to order, great coffees, fresh fruits, everything you could want in the morning.

I stayed here for the Auto Show at Cobo Hall in Downtown Detroit, 20 miles away, but that is a quick 20 minute drive on freeways.

We attended a play in Downtown Dtetroit and wanted to stay at a hotel near, but not in, the city. The Embassy Suites at Troy/Auburn Hills was a good choice. The room was very nice and the Manager's Reception that evening and breakfast the following morning were good. It's much more quiet than a stay in the city itself and parking is free and safe.
