Our family stays at this hotel many times a year by choice. We now have friends and family that stay there also.

Our kids love the 24 hr. pool, staff is excellent at all times.

We stay at Choice hotel properties all over the country and this one is a winner! Checked in late evening. Desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was the one 2Q plus sleeper sofa in the hotel. The room was HUGE! It had a flat screen TV, mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Beds are good sized with plenty of pillows. Pool area is nice with hot tub attached to pool. You can check on the kids playing in the pool from a window across the elevators on the second floor. There is a wide selection at the complimentary breakfast, including waffles, eggs and biscuits/gravy.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn the nights of November 10 and 11 as part of the Taste of the Season Leelenau Penninsula Vineyard celebration. The staff was helpful, the rooms and facilities were clean and it was what we expected from a Comfort Inn. The HVAC unit was a little noisy but nothing we weren't used to. The breakfast was what you'd pay 7-10 bucks at a restaurant. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, yogurt, coffee, juice, instant oatmeal. It's a nice location for wine tasting at the Old Mission and Leelenau Penninsulas. Our only complaint was in the jacuzzi room we had the towel rack was above the toilet and you had to get out of the shower in order to grab a towel. There is plenty of room on the wall directly across the shower door for a towel bar so you could just reach out of the shower to grab your towel. The bed was a little harder than we're used to but I dare you to find a hotel that can cater to each individual's comfort level of a bed. Our jacuzzi room had a small undercabinet fridge, coffee maker, ironing board and iron and a hair dryer. You may want to note that the sink is actually out in the room rather in the bathroom that has the toilet and shower. It is located slightly east of the Mission Point Penninsula for reference and a five minute drive from downtown Traverse City.

Just spent a 3 day weekend in Traverse City, stayed at the Comfort Inn. Room size was comfortable, with 2 beds, plus really nice sink with roomy counter in the bedroom which was great for applying makeup, doing hair and spreading out, plus location of it left bathroom free for others to use. The room also has a small refrigerator which we definitely used. We did not use the pool area but saw others using it. We were most impressed with the staff, especially at the front desk. Everyone was cheerful and helpful.
