My friend and I went up to Sturgis for New Years Eve. She has family up there, but we wanted to stay in a motel. We decided on Knights Inn because of the rates and where it was located. When we got the room, it was not the greatest. It stunk, and the refrigerator was grimy, it also stunk. We went down to the office to ask for an ice bucket so we could get ice for our pepsi. The lady asked us if we were drinking alcoholic beverages and when we said no, and explained we wanted the ice for our pepsi, she gave us plastic bags to put the ice in. There were no cups available in the room. The ceiling tile was so messed up that every time the people above us moved in their room, we felt the roof was going to collaspe. In the morning when we were ready to leave, we cleaned the room and threw all the trash away. We walked up to the office and dropped off the key. The lady(same lady from the ice incident) asked us what room we were staying in then escorted us back to the room and would not let us leave until she checked the room. There was just two of us in that room all night and we did not have anything alcoholic in the room. We are both in our 20's and were very responsible. Most of the night we were at her parents house. I think that the both of us were treated wrongly, and I guarentee that if we stay up there again, we will choose another motel.
