My husband and I made reservations online for Super 8 in Stevensville, MI and this is the motel we got cuz they are transforming to make it a Super 8. We got here and there was no reservation called to this motel from the online people that took it from us, so the guy that was behind the counter gave us the room for $40.00 a nite, which was a really good deal, we thought. Til we got to the room and discovered the bathroom wasn't cleaned and the floor wasn't vaccumed, it smelled musty, so we asked for our money back and they did that for us. Glad to have gone down the road and found the Comfort Suites motel that had a room, yes we paid a lil more but it was a very nice place to stay!!

Has anyone stayed here lately? I understand it's under new ownership, has undergone some degree of renovation and is now called the Stevensville Inn. Any comments about this motel? I have not stayed here. I only completed the survey in order to make my post. Thanks.

The room was not clean, the bathroom was unfinished and bugs were flying around everywhere. The air conditioner did work, that was the only plus. The TV was old and had a fuzzy picture. The bathroom was outdated and not done, with tiles missing and plaster on the floor. The tub was stained and the shower curtain was filthy. There was a coffee pot in the room but that was dirty. I say keep on going down the road you can do a lot better then this place for the same money!! Do not bring kids here they will get sick!

We paid 89 bucks plus tax for one room, two people. We were going back home to Springfield from Traverse City. We got there at midnight wanting to sleep but there were tons of people at the pool having a party. The room was not clean. There was a dead bug on the floor and black stuff in the tub. I complained and we were only offered a 20 percent refund. Ridiculous! They must have changed the name to Stevensville Inn because it's the exact same address but different name online. Will not stay there again on our next trip.
