My best friend and I took my two boys to see the Wolverines play in Ann Arbor, and we wanted to stay overnight and we chose this property in Detroit's Southfield suburb.
The property is attractive and fairly modern and upon our arrival we received a very friendly check in and were directed to our room.
The hotel has an atrium style lobby and as we arrived in our room, we found a two room king suite with a fold out sofa, which was very well appointed and clean. Amenity wise, it had a big screen tv, fridge, wet bar, iron, iron board, coffee facilities, etc. Exactly what you would expect. The kids loved playing in the room as we had a couple of beers and caught up on the college football scores.
We went down to the manager's reception, there are nachos, salsa, crudites, chips, popcorn, cookies and snack foods which the kids loved, they had free soda for them and Miller Lites for the adults. Apparently some guests make dinner out of this.
We ate at the restaurant, great service, food was ok to good, tasty but not superb, but happy with the value for the price. Breakfast in the morning was good, but the lines are long, but the guys at the griddle do a good job getting everyone through, worth leaving them a dollar or two tip for the amount they work.
I will return to this location when we come back next year for another game.
