“I do highly recommend this resort, a wonderful time to experience.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

I had an amazing time at the Victoria Resort. My girlfriend and I are from Windsor, we drove all the way to South Haven, and don’t regret it and are considering going again. We got a cabin that came with the wood burning fireplace, and also Jacuzzi. The staff at Victoria Resort are exquisite, they were very friendly and made sure they met our needs. We were very close to town, and went night skating. We went in January and I can’t imagine how great the stay would be in the summer. I ran into the owner of the resort and she went out of her way to greet herself and asks how I was doing and spent some time to get to know me.
I do highly recommend this resort, a wonderful time to experience.

“Outstanding B&B Experience!”

My wife and I spent a cold winter night at the Victoria Resort B&B last weekend. What a great B&B! Everything you would look for in a B&B was top notch.

The staff at check-in was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a suite that had a beautiful, big bathroom with a jetted tub and seperate shower. The bedroom was nice and cozy with a comfortable bed. The electric fireplace was a nice touch and made the room even cozier. There was also a nice sitting room with couch and small fridge between the bath and bedroom. I highly recommend the suite!

Downtown South Haven looked so quaint and beautiful all decorated for Christmas. After a nice, quiet dinner in town at Tello's, we came back to the resort in the late evening. The place was all lit up and decorated beautifully with Christmas lights. It looked so inviting.

We marveled at how quiet the resort was, even though we know that several of the other rooms were occupied. The peace and quiet were just what we needed during this busy time of year. We were really able to relax and unwind. We also appreciated the extensive movie collection available to guests for free.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing! They offered a nice variety of things, and the quiche was incredible (we asked for the recipe). Again, the staff was helpful and friendly. They all really seem to enjoy running this resort.

Overall, everything was perfect. Not one thing was less than we had hoped. I would highly recommend the resort to anyone who needs to get away to a quiet, relaxing, romantic place. The resort is a couple blocks from Lake Michigan (we could hear the roar of the waves from the parking lot) and it looks like there are a couple of beaches very nearby. My wife and I would like to return in the summer and try one of the resort's cottages and enjoy the pool. Looks like a great place to be in the summertime too!

Room Tip: I recommend the suite, but the cottages look like they would be a great place to stay in the summert...

“We made the right choice!”

The apple french toast is still on my mind! I also like how the silverware is really stored in the dining room drawers. I was glad to have the Jr Suite just to spread out my stuff for unpacking and packing but we didnt really use the couch. I expected my husband to use his computer in there while I slept but he didnt use it at all! The water pressure was great and I don't recall hearing water noise from other rooms. I didn't hear traffic either, which might be a problem at other b&bs we passed while there, such as our 2nd choice which would have been $200/nt more than Victoria Resort! We will definitely be back!

“Victoria Bed & Breakfast”

If you are still one of the many folks out there that still have not experienced a Bed and Breakfast, then you simply must try the Victoria Resort. The rooms are just lovely and the staff is there to tend to your every need from directions to attractions to a corkscrew for your wine. I would not even consider a hotel anymore and the breakfast which is not your ordinary eggs and bacon is always something to look forward to. I guarantee once you start the B&B scene, you will never go back!!!

Room Tip: The standard queen was more than adequate.

“Great getaway!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2011

My husband and I decided to visit South haven to celebrate our anniversary. After checking out numerous Bed & Breakfasts, I chose Victoria Resort. The family that runs it were gracious and bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful. It was very clean, well-run, and the food was delicious. They even gave out their recipes. The resort had bicycles you could use for no extra charge. It was a very quiet residential neighborhood, just a short block from Lake Michigan.
