Having been looking at this place for quite some time and finally decided to make a reservation. Our choice was great, you can see from the outside that it well cared for and the inside of the rooms is the very same, you can tell the owner has pride in there place. Very clean, large room with everything you need, i most certainly recommend the Plaza Motor Motel you will not be dissapointed. We will definitely return!!

Family run traditional motel on the outskirts of Sault Ste. Marie. Clean. Near shopping and restaurants, but the locks are a ten minute drive away. Trip Advisor reviews are very accurate.

Chose this hotel after reviewing it online. Stayed in room 106, and wouldn't hesitate to book this room again when travelling through next time. I like to know all the details, so I will include everything in this short review.

The pros: Great price (I think we paid $55 + tax), King size bed, clean sheets and towels, tub/shower and bathroom were very clean, microwave, fridge, good TV, free wireless internet, Wofgang Puck coffee in-room (2 pods), quiet, beautiful grounds, good location just off the interstate and close to Walmart and restaurants.

The cons: Furniture and carpet very worn, decor dated and cheesy (though I don't really see this as a bad thing necessarily), a little dark (some light bulbs burnt out), no shampoo provided, plastic glasses in room, no extra pillows.

I saw this motel reviewed on TripAdvisor and took everyone's advice. What a great motel. It's a "strip motel" style and the grounds are a happy surprise. The owners devoted a lot of time and money to landscaping and decorating their rooms. My room wasn't very large, but the handmade feel made the room feel great. The front desk staff was very knowledgable and nice. I felt secure and at home.
