The Timberline was far overpriced. The room smelled like sewage. Bathtub didn't drain well and we took showers with water up to our ankles. One window did not open at all. Another opened, but would not close. Towels threadbare. Heater came on in the middle of summer and had no controls. Staff did not speak English well and could not respond quickly to simple requests. Pay attention to the negative reviews on this site. The positive reviews are likely written by the hotel owners.Repeat: DO NOT STAY HERE.

Very dirty upon arrival, crappy customer service, dirty pool. I woke up at 3am in the dark for a trip to the toilet and stepped on a roach. Disgusting! I would not stay here if i were you.....

Excellent place to stay- very clean, lots of things for kids (pool, playground), good breakfast, free wi-fi. I'll take this over all the chain hotels where you rarely get all of these amenities. Oh and the best part- a fraction of the cost! We highly recommend this place. Very kind and hospitable manager and staff.

first night I did not have internet, second and third only one channel of tv. Very poor customer service. One night I did not get towels, shampoo, bath mat (provided when requested from office). I mistakenly left items, and was in town till 9 pm that night), I received no phone call) but one of the items was acknowledged when I called after getting home. The other they said they didn't find.

The building was fine, this was a major management problem. Communications very poor. Very unhelpful.

This was a busy weekend in town with a movie festival happening. There were few rooms seem to be occupied. I now understand why.
