The rooms were okay, but the hotels hallways and elevators were terribly hot-not one speck of airconditioning. The housekeeping personal were terrible. After several attempts to get extra towels, we faced that fact that we would have to go down to the front desk everyday and get the towels ourselves. Plus housekeeping would not hand out toliet paper. It was a precious commodity. Even when I asked a housekeeper on the floor if I could get a new roll, she said that they don't keep toilet paper on the cleaning carts. I just looked at her... What if the room she was cleaning needed toliet paper... How would she refill it... I know that another family we were traveling with, went without toliet paper for two days.. The family called the front desk to get the toilet paper and the desk attendent promplty told the guest to call after 11pm.. The desk was counting money and didn't have time to take any calls.....When we checked out I asked for an itemized bill, I found two phone calls that were made from our room that we didn't make. The girl at the front desk questioned me and I told her to pick up the phone and call one of the numbers.... It was a cell phone to one of the housekeeping girls boyfriend. At that moment the desk attendent appologized and took the calls off my bill.
But to top it off-The last night we were there, the hotel said that they were hosting a block party in the parking lot next door. All well in good, but the music was so loud that we were on the fifth floor on the oppisite side of the party and I could swear the party was in our room. The party continued past 12:30pm.. I got tired of not being able to get to sleep that my husband and I called the police. We had to call 2 times..
The hotel in Frankenmuth- need the Christmas store was the same rate that we had at this hotel. I will tell you that we will not ever stay in that hotel again. Plus I am looking for the corporate office number so I can lodge a complaint against this hotel.. Fair Warning- it's not in a good part of town either. Nothing around, and do not go out walking at night.
