Have stayed here quite often when in the area for business. Of the hotels in the area it had the most to offer for the price. It has an indoor pool, workout room, and free hot breakfast with a good selection. They have added a food pantry where you can get that late night ice cream or snack!
Rooms are decent size. From what we were told this visit is there are new owners and there will be remodeling this fall. It is in a good location too - off the main road and near shopping and all types of restaurants.

This Holiday inn was fine,although, the room furnishings were aged and sparse. No refrigerator, no rack for suitcase, no easy chair, just the necessities. The bed and covers were good and the pillows were too. The breakfast was very good and included their delicious warm cinnamon buns.

This was an excellent hotel. The clerk checking us in was so friendly and kind. The hotel was beautiful, the housekeeping was perfect, the rooms were beautiful and the morning breakfast was more of a buffet,warm and delicious. I just can't stay enough, we went to frankenmuth for 3 days and the drive was only 10 minutes away. Pefect place to stay if your going to frankenmuth. The pool and hot tub was nice and warm after a long day at frankenmuth.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at the end of our visit to Michigan. We stayed at the Ramada Inn Saginaw on the front end of our visit which we reviewed favorably. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express because we had enough Priority Club Points to qualify for a reduced rate of about $74.00/night. We had reserved a King Bed Classic room which includes a microwave and small refrigerator. When we arrived we were given 2 Queen Bed Classic with no microwave or refrigerator. When we mentioned this to the front desk staffer she told us that it was common to get this less desirable room type when using points so we pursued the point no farther as we did get a great rate on the room. In defense of the Holiday Inn Express Saginaw on our previous visit in December we were upgraded to a King Bed Executive Suite for the same rate as the King Bed Classic, so I figure we’re even.
The only down side of you stay was the housekeeping staff, which is not to say they didn’t do a great job in cleaning the room, because they did. My only complaint is that they would ask us when we were going to be out of the room or if we wanted housekeeping at all which kind of put some pressure on us to get out or decline service. On Sunday morning they knocked on the door at 7:00 am asking to clean the room. They were always quite nice but a little pushy.
The hotel was nice, the personnel were nice as well and it was a nice stay.
