This place was OK for a night. Conveniently located off freeway.

Rooms outdated and a little dingy, but price was reasonable.

Fine for a night, but not for a long stay.

Mini-shop at reception was useful - I bought some yoghurt there.

Drive into central Detroit took only about 15-20 minutes.

Please do not ever stay at this hotel. This place is gross! So disgusting. For one thing at check in, the electronic system was down so none of the room doors would open without the desk clerk "letting you in" the room with a master key manually. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! So this hotel clerk guy (he was really nice actually) let me into my room that was disgusting. The room hadn't been cleaned, yet the bed was made nicely. There was black marks on the sheets and crumbs in the bed.. the toilet had urine on it... no toilet paper.. it was gross, so I asked for another room which the hotel guy was really nice and apologetic. The next room was better, but the carpet was dingy and gross.. the comforter looked like it had been there since 1988. It was a mess.. I barely got any sleep cause I was too scare a roach was going to crawl out. I should have spent the night at the airport. I would have gotten a better night's sleep on the floor of McNamera Terminal. You might be low on cash and thinking.. oh it's just one night. DON'T DO IT! NOT WORTH IT! No money? Just sleep at the airport, but do not sleep here. It's not worth it... Just remember.. I warned you.

do not stay here or use hotelscheap.org, they will give you one price, then when you get there charge you more, it is very unclean, and stinks both in the hallway and rooms, staff at front desk are rude. wish I could rate in the negative.

Be friend and I stayed there the other night. He went out to party with friends but I stayed in. All I wanted was some sleep. I was alone and asleep for about 2 hours before I was woken up by the middle eastern desk clerk shaking me. He had just let himself in and was putting his hands on me. Not even joking, I was freaked out! Then he gave me a hard time about me asking him to get out so I could at least get dressed. He wanted me to pack up our stuff and leave because my friend had called a cab but then left because the cab took too long. The cab driver must have been a friend or something. They both wanted me to give the cab driver money for gas since he came all that way and now there was no one for him to pick up. $50 is what he wanted for gas money! When I tried to leave they tried blocking my way. They chased me out to my car yelling at me. I stopped being scared and got angry and started yelling back. The desk clerk and cab driver then said they were calling the cops unless I gave them money. So I told them I would do it for them. Once the cops showed up they now wanted $80 for gas money! It was absolutely horrible! This all took place around 5am. Ended up staying at a cleaner cheaper place next door. Worst experience ever!!! Don't stay here!
