we are from ontario----stay here everytime we fly out of detroit...great place to go for a drink next door at a nice restaurant/bar....nice rooms..simple and functional.
park and fly i would consider the best around. complimentary shuttle when you park your car, back to your hotel. and also to and from airport...cannot beat it..usually get it for under 100. hotel and parking for a week. :) p.s only one negative---the beds are not the most comfy around!

We spent the Thanksgiving weekend at this hotel. We stayed for the entire weekend, one of the nights our room was not cleaned and or made up. We contact the front desk and they didn’t even apologize. Their response was the maid was supposed to clean your room???
I than had to request they delivery fresh towels so we could shower the next day.

The walls are extremely thin, we were woken up at 3:00am in the morning by guess running up and down the hallway; they must have been drunk?
Would not recommend the hotel and definitely will not be staying at any other LaQuinta’s.

Fruit was spoiled and appeared to be left out for days.

We stayed here for the convenience of being near the airport and it included parking for our trip. The hotel was average. However, the walls were extremely thin! When people were in their showers, it sounded like they were in our room. And the doors slamming in the hallway were extremely loud! It served the purpose though. We got to sleep in a little later than if we had to drive to the airport for our early morning flight. We didn't use the shuttle because we parked our car at Quik Park in the morning and caught the shuttle from there. We had to leave too early for breakfast too. The rooms did have a refrigerator, which came in handy for some juice that we had brought with us for breakfast.

Stayed here one night in October after my flight had been canceled. Initially, I thought the hotel was clean and well kept based on the apperence of the lobby. The rooms however are dirty and full of mold!! We discovered mold spores growing in the heat/air conditioning unit and oddly on the luggage rack. The bathroom reeked of urine and it seemed to me as though it was merely wiped down or better yet the towels were just refolded from the previous guest. The carpet was dirty too! When we contacted the front desk about moving to another room, and they happily moved us, but we still encountered the same problems in another room. Ugh!! I felt dirty and worried for days after our stay about becoming ill from breathing in toxins from the mold. Needless to say I would NEVER stay here again!!! I wouldn't be surprised if this hotel has an infestation of bed bugs and cock roaches!
