First of all, it was just bad getting our room key. The girl at the front desk was just on the phone with others while we stood there for about 15 min. We had two very small children with us so I was really getting upset- I used the word "unprofessional" and she did not like that so a few words went back and forth on why I thought she sucked!! She could not even look my husband in the eyes because she was acting busy on the phone. People need to show some kind of respect to paying customer.....WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THAT? The great part was when we got to our room on the second floor. This room was soooooooo gross and disgusting. My two children started playing around on the floor and about five minutes later I picked up my little daughter and noticed that she and my son had dark black dirt covering the bottoms of there feet, they had it on there knee and hands as well. We clean up the children and are forced to lay about 8 sheets on the floor so we wouldnt get dirty!! So sick. I went to sit down on the bed and notice that someone left his gross contacts laying on the night stand and what do you know? My daughter tried to grab them(toddlers eat everything). Our room was also very dirty in the washroom- dirty razors, used soap, and shaving cream and a little left over shavings on the floor for us! We did not even stay one night and we were booked for 4. We will never stay with Days Inn again, I can't say it enough but it is so dirty.
