“Perfect place to stay”

Our family was going to Port Huron to celebrate our daughter's engagement. We wanted a homey place to stay since the weekend would be so hectic. After reading the review on Tripadvisor, we decided on Sage House. What a wonderful find!! The rooms are absolutely beautiful and newly renovated. You truly feel like you have your own world. Joan is wonderful and fixes a great breakfast! I would highly recommend Sage House to anyone. It's also close to the water. My husband took a couple of long walks in the morning.

“Wonderful Bed and Breakfast close to the St. Claire River”

This B&B has three bedrooms with three master baths on the upper floor of a Historic House one half block from the St. Claire River. I reserved all three rooms for my family, my wife and I, mom and sister. We spent a wonderful weekend in the house. Linens and bedding were very comfortable. Showers had plenty of hot water. Joan, the owner put on a lovely breakfast with great coffee. I strongly recommend staying here if you come to Port Huron.

  • Liked — It had a very comfortable feeling like it was your own house.
  • Disliked — Return air vents allowed light and sound to leak into the room from the hallway.
  • Tips/Secrets — We had a wonderful lunch at the Quay St Brewery. Walk down to the river and you will understand why they call it the Blue Water Bridge.
