Being a traveling ice skating mom with my daughters team. Mids is always the tough hotel to find because your there for three nights so you always want to make sure you like where your staying. So the bottom line is was I happy and would I stay again. The answer is "yes"
The good is the customer service. Top rate from the breakfast workers to the desk clerks. Larry the hotel clerk who is also your shuttle driver was very prompt, and full of humor made it fun to ride to places. The rooms-well they weren't bad. However, I found myself wishing for a swifer to dust with. When I was looking for plugs to plug in all of our electronics I was a bit grossed out. With the dusting issue. It would be easy to improve this. Also, you need a few more plugs I found none by the bed. Lighting. With the change to the new energy bulbs we have lost our lighting. Its dim. The furniture. The chair was really dusty and showed because it was red and the table was very stained with water marks. I think it makes the room look older then it is. Beds and pillows are great and you really get your wakeup call when you place it. My friend had a room with a very musty smell to it?? so they switched rooms. We are a large skating organization and have ties to the hotels picked and I would choose this one again.

Stayed at this hotel Jan 27-Jan29 for two nights using our points. Checked in at 1:30pm and had no problems. There were a number of figure skating teams staying here, but really had no issues with them regarding noise or rowdiness. Front desk checked us in early, could not get Club Floor, but were given room on 6th floor and access to 7th floor club lounge for light breakfast, snacks, drinks...computer, newspapers, tv....
Hotel has been here for 30 years as a Hilton, but eventually Sheraton took it over and they have done quite a good job at maintaining the property. We were given free wifi, free water...housekeeping was excellent and all staff were quite friendly and professional. Room was nice with flat screen tv, work desk, large Sweet Sleeper Kind Bed (excellent). Bathroom on the small side but sufficient for our needs. Excellent towels and if more needed, don't hesitate to ask. Basement has nice size pool with large windows for sun, hot tub on the small size but adequate. Nice size work out room. Plenty of free parking. Overall, quite nice hotel for both the business and pleasure traveler. Would definitely recommend hotel for those who are in the area.

Plenty of shopping close by. Large,Clean hotel. Elevators were really slow. Thin walls.

I stayed in this hotel for just one night for business. It was a great hotel, very convenient and right off the freeway. Check-in was fast and efficient. The room is spacious, it had a little musty smell to it at first but I think it wasn't occupied in a few days. The room had a nice work area which was really helpful for me. The room service was great and very fast. The neighbors came back and were very loud so I had to call security but security was up in less then 5 minutes and it was taken care of. They also gave me a late check out which was really helpful. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I will definitely stay here again!
