Stayed here while vacationing on Lake Michigan and wasn't at all impressed. For a two-star hotel, it was a bit pricey, and it wasn't a particularly great stay. My room featured the following:

• A broken shower curtain rod, so every time the shower was turned on, the room flooded
• A heating unit that smelled strongly of smoke when it was turned on
• A noisy mini-fridge
• A view of the back of the hotel, where two staff members(?) sat loudly arguing and swearing at each other until about 1AM
• A family in a nearby room that would periodically slam doors, yell, run through the halls, etc. until the wee hours of the morning

To be fair, I didn't ask to switch rooms, and on the plus side, the room was large and there was a pretty good complimentary breakfast. All things considered, though, I wouldn't stay here again at the prices I paid.

We were placed in an odd numbered room overlooking a construction dumpster. It was being loaded by a stream of trucks all night long starting at 1:45 AM. We were awakened each night. On site management was unresponsive. The General Manager Aj Jairam was never on site, and refused to contact us as we requested. Rooms are old and tired. Needs updating. Sinks are cracked. Phone and internet was often not working.

I had to travel for a grad class and had a room in another city. I switched to this hotel even though they had only one room left due to a boys baseball league. At first I was worried about noise, but that was not a problem. This was a quiet stay and if I were to travel in this area, I would choose it again. The staff made this hotal special!

The room was big. I liked the pool...it wasnt huge but it was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean, and tidy. The breakfast was excellent!
