I really liked the location and the amenities were great for kids as there was a lovely pool and tennis court and lots of countryside and great views. The style was very French and whilst not at all posh it had a lot of charm. Only good if you have your own transport and are prepared to drive a few miles to the nearest town for dinner. If you're there on a Monday don't leave it too late to get to a restaurant.
Breakfast was a bit lazy and not that impressive, lacking in fruit and yoghurts. The croissants and jam were delicious. Service is a bit hit and miss but all very friendly.

“Quirky”
Positioned about 300 metres East of the Google Earth pin, the old house has a very strong musty smell in the dining room (only for breakfasts). Rooms in the annex are via creaky stairs and can be hot in summer as they have a lot of roof area as part of the room. If you can't find anyone in reception then go to the private wing to the main house (big red door) and shout upstairs. They seem to cater for weddings and this is the main business - wise as facilities for travellers are not too good - eating involves going to La Fleche. We think we would use a hotel in La Fleche if transiting again.

Nous sommes sincèrement navrés d'apprendre que votre expérience parmi nous ne vous a pas apporté entière satisfaction. D'ores et déjà nous avons intégré vos suggestions en ce qui concerne le confort de la chambre et la qualité du petit déjeuner et, après ce weekend pluvieux et maussade,veillons tout particulièrement à notre parc qui sera ouvert le weekend prochain pour les "rendez-vous aux jardins".
