We booked this hotel as a convenient place to stay after a late evening arrival at Le Havre. The hotel is located on the square of a pretty village, and we were given a pleasant welcome by a receptionist who spoke far better English than our poor French. Our room was on the top floor of the hotel overlooking the square, which could be a bit noisy, but the room was clean and pleasant.
The bathroom was quite small with a shower best described as functional.
At the time of our stay the hotel had a policy of half board only during weekends. The restaurant served an excellent residents menu which we could upgrade at extra cost. The food was very good but the chef does like his offal!
A buffet breakfast was served in the restaurant, which was again of a good quality. (This time no andouille!)
If you don't wish to eat at the hotel there is a good choice at other places around the square.
There was ample secure parking for both of our motorcycles at a courtyard behind the hotel.
This place is a good two star hotel, and the restaurant probably better. It was frequented by locals and visitors and was full the night we were there.
