we had dinner in this house for 96 euros per person for three small and lousy courses.. The food was mediocre, we paid 12 euros for a single glass of simple white wine. the food was the quality of a bad cooked home meal. they charge you tremendous ammounts f money for your win bottle. they calculate minumum of 4 times the price of the normal price. you are serviced with a kind of arrogance you donnot want to know.
you pay three star michelin prices. we ended with two bottles of water, two glasses of white wine, one bottle italian wine: amarone of soso quality of 105 euro, all together we paid 347 euro!!!!.
tomorrow we will book in arpeche in paris and pay less and eat 1000 times better.
so if you want a nice evening, please donnot go .

I have never written a review for this site before, but felt compelled to when I read the only other review posted.

We had a fantastic time when we stayed with Pascale and Patrick Duler. They run the farmhouse as a hotel for a few months of every year and are delightful hosts. Pascale is very much front of house while Patrick is the chef. The food here is amazing, definitely the best that either of us had ever eaten.

We enjoyed the wine that we drank at dinner (from their wine list) and, as the vineyard was local and the owners friends of Pascle and Patrick, Pascale called the vineyard for us and they opened their doors and gave us a tasting. Nothing is too much trouble.

We stayed for six nights, which was perhaps a little too long, as the evening meals are almost too good to be eaten six nights in a row!

It is truly a wonderful getaway, perhaps for a long weekend, or for the last few nights of your holiday.

We are going back this year and taking friends!

Do not waste your money on this seemingly splendid posh B&B. If you arrive when they are having lunch beware. You must not on any account disturb the rhythm if their day and heaven forbid you disturd Madame when she's got her baby to feed.
Room was nice but bathroom ghastly, mouldy and desperately needing refurbishment. Pool OK but I have seen better. Madame kept me waiting an hour before she deigned to open the pool cover for me on a boiling hot day in SEPTEMBER 2006.

TOTAL inflexibility means you have to eat dinner at 8pm. BREAKFAST Is at 9am regardless of if you have a flight to catch. Not only that but you can't get any drinks before that time without Monsieur shouting at you. If you escape the smoke from the cooking of foie gras around the pool you are lucky - and don't expect much for your 80 euros at dinner. Fine quality produce is served with no embellishment, no smile and a miserable atmosphere hangs around the dining room like a -- in a phone box. Dont be fooled by the pictures of tina Turner and RIchard Gere who have stayed there as money is EVERYTHING here and if you aren't of international mega star status you wont have an enjoyable stay here. Arguments flared at the dinner table and we fled in the morning feeling totally ripped off by this experience. There is ALWAYS somewhere better to go than here so drive on and don't look back. If you dare to go you will find your wallet much lighter on leaving.
