“Can't Wait to Go Back!”

My husband, 8 month old baby and I stayed here last summer and loved it. We stayed in Cuzco, which was like being in a palace, truly. We had amazing sweeping views of the entire area and our own private terrace. Our room, the rest of the maison and gardens looked like they were right out of a "World of Interiors" magazine. Pierre & Christian could not have been more gracious hosts - so helpful and charming! They were also very accommodating of our needs, which were greater since we were traveling with an infant. Our room was plenty big enough for a portable crib (which they kindly provided) and anything else we required they cheerfully provided. In short, we loved our stay at Maison du Blauzac and can't wait to go back!

“Charm in Provence”

Spent two days in Blauzac and had a great experience at La Maison. The house is really charming, typical stone building, interior decoration a strong point. The owners, Christian and Pierre, make you feel at home -- really. Breakfast served in the dining room adjoing their own kitchen; rooms have great views, conversation with them was a big plus. Lots of things to see in the nearby area. Great experience. We were in Blauzac to visit friends -- and ended up making new friends. Merci, Pierre et Christian, pour un séjour inoubliable !

“A dream property”

My daughter, my aunt and my mother stayed at this property for quite a while last December. We were visiting my sister who lives nearby, and what can I say... no offense to my sister, but I wish I was the one staying at La Maison!
The rooms are beautiful, so well appointed, so creative in the furnishings and so comfortable. The property is amazing, located by the church with beautiful views from the higher rooms.
The breakfast is incredible, such variety and a lovely environment.
As last but not least, the entire success of this place is due to the two amazing hosts and owners, Pierre and Christian, who made us feel like family. We are just dying to go back. They were so wonderful to all of us, it was one of the best experiences we had in France. Miss you guys!

“Fabulous Place to stay”

Stayed at La Maison De Blauzac in September 2006. Living in Paris, I regularly visit Provence, but had not been to the Uzes area. I found this particular gem through I Escape and booked immed. The village of Blauzac is very picturesque and quiet. The Hotel is on a tiny little square by the Church in the most picturesque setting possible. The house is beautiful, completely quiet and the rooms are beautifully decorated - in fact they were featured this Autumn in Cote Sud.

Breakfast is a real treat and can be taken in the "picture perfect" garden overlooking the hills of provence. The swimming pool is tucked away in the corner and ideal for a dip at the end of a deliciously sunny day.

However, the real stars are the hosts Christian and Pierre who run their wonderful home with immense charm and style. They are simply the most gracious hosts, always on hand, but never intrusive - a rare skill indeed. They have a wonderful reputation locally and are always on hand to recommend the best restaurants, bars, museums, exhibitions etc.,

Although travelling alone, I was made to feel so welcome and met several couples during my 4 night stay who were all completely charming and delighted with their find.

Blauzac is about 10 minutes drive from Uzes, so you definately need a car. There is not much happening in the village, but there are great restaurants in Uzes and lots to see culturally, museums, galleries etc., and the week-end market is fun.

I will definately go back and visit Christian and Pierre and would strongly recommend this charming hotel if visiting the region.

“Incredibly beautiful”

La Maison was a beautiful place with very gracious hosts who treated their guests as they would cose friends. Pierre and Christian have created a spectacular and unusual environment with surprising and unexpected touches in the decor. Our room The Venet, was huge with pink vaulted beamed ceilings and beautiful views from our windows. The bathroom was enormous, luxurious,, and unusual in the materials used and it's space. Breakfasts were beautifully presented and plentiful. My husband and I never tired of the vistas from La Maison and loved sitting in the walled garden for breakfast or our afternoon wine and cheese. There we could gaze endlessly over the vineyards and poppy fields that stretched as far as the eye could see.
The town of Blauzac is lovely and being very close to Uzes is a definate plus. Pierre and Chrisian were extremely helpful with restaurant choices and in making reservations for us if needed. The Saturday market in Uzes is famous and covers the town. I could go on, but suffice it to say that our stay at La Maison was memorable and really perfect in every way. Our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. Pierre, and Christian, I hope we can come back for another stay and will certainly recommend La Maison to any of our friends who may be traveling to Provence.
