A classy hotel with character in Brittany just the right size with big comfortable rooms (ours with a corner terrace) and next to the beach. Caring staff, nice place for drinks in the evening and it was nice having the demi pension. Food was good and the view from the restaurant is pleasant. Well done! (Tony and Sue from Bristol)

We planned the visit having seen the place years ago.
On arrival no welcome, no interest in us two. Mid 70s but no help, open gates yourselves, lock up after entering.
Room small and very expensive for its size. Unable to open one wardrobe as blocked by bedside table..Some furniture poor and mended.. Not room to stretch and settee we had used to lodge suitcases. Small balcony and not a bad view. Smaller than many motel rooms..
Tiny lift, narrow passages and stairs.
Best feature the food, 4* and staff fairly attentive. Not many tourists there...
Parking ok when you were inside gardens. Sea wall had collapsed earlier and builders in..No beach access for weeks.
No mini bar, no international TV., too few staff for room service..
Overall they liked the income but didnt work for it.

If you're under 70 years old take my advice and avoid this place, 'boring' doesn't quite describe this retirement home...

The hotel is actually quite nice however it's let down by understaffing, the receptionist doubles up as the barman, it's impossible to get a drink beyond 11pm and I include water, room service etc -

they charge 5 star prices but deliver 3 star service, snooty waiters (one actually tutted at me for asking for a desert at 9.30pm), the rooms are basic; no minibar, no cable TV, no air-conditioning etc

We are visiting the Brittany and look forward to finding a place where we could stay 2 or 3 days. The idea was a place in front of the sea, kinda isolated and where we did not have many things to do. This hotel is definetely the place. Besides they have different kind of body treatments as well as an indoor pool. It was worth it to have dinner in the hotel.

The only con was the breakfast. Do not expect too much.

They have complementary wi-fi.

Tip: if you stay in the hotel 3 nights, you'll only pay 2 nights + the breakfast of the third night.
