Rather disappointing having read such positive reviews on Trip Advisor, the room (attic) and food was more expensive and lower quality in comparison to all other places we stayed this holiday. Lots of potential but all seems a bit complacent.

Initially just a stop over to visit Mont St Michel, we like this place so much. Should have stayed for more nights. Great English couple Bill and Carol. Beautifully renovated house, tastefully decorated. English afternoon tea, dinenr and breakfast were wonderful and nice change after all these rich French food during our month long driving trip in France. My daughter left behind her watch in the room and Bill is so kind to send this back to us.

If you're not a motorcyclist, don't be be put off by the "biker friendly" theme of the hotel. Bill and Carol are as welcoming and friendly as you could hope for. Expect to be offered tea or coffee when you arrive and, in the morning, a delicious breakfast. Our room was clean and cozy, as was the ensuite smallish bath. Grounds are spacious and attractive. Half-hour drive to Mont St. Michel on a direct route.

I was looking for a point to stop off en route to the South Coast of Brittany. By great good fortune I found Bill and Carol through Trip Advisor. A really warm welcome great food and drink and a lovely room. Highly recommended.
