“Very relaxing, family-friendly stay in a gorgeous location”

Our family of two adults and three children (ages 10-16) stayed at Le Chevrefeuille for three nights in June, 2011. It was one of the highlights of our trip to France! We had two rooms, and both were very comfortable and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed the delicious dinners prepared by the owner on two of our nights there, and those meals were among our best in France. They even catered to the kids' tastes. Breakfasts were also outstanding. Our kids also loved playing soccer in the big yard, and took a swim in the new pool. There is a family-friendly environment at Le Chevrefeuille, and the hospitality was very warm. The surrounding area is beautiful--and we enjoyed activities including canoeing and touring caves. We would love to come back some time!

“A fantastic stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 December 2011

We stayed at Chevrefeuille in July 2011 for 5 nights. We had a family room, which was ideal for the 4 of us (2 adults an 8 yr old and a 7month old). The location is great, very convenient for a lot of things, but very quiet and relaxing. The breakfast is fantastic, lots of choices and a very relaxing atmosphere. It was nice to have the laundry facilities on hand, especially when travelling with children.Would recommend Le Chevrefeuille to anyone travelling in the Dordogne, and would book a stay there again without hesitation!

“Beautiful B and B in a peaceful location”

We stayed at Le Chevrefeuille in August 2011 for 2 nights (wish it had been a lot longer) and had a lovely stay. We stayed in the family room which was nice and spacious and comfortable and clean. We were with our daughter, 11 and then 14 month old baby boy who was well catered for as there was a separate room with lots of toys and a fridge/sink area if you require keeping bits and bobs i.e milk etc. (opens at 9a.m). At the time of my booking there was no pool advertised so I was geared up to not having that facility, so when we arrived and saw it it was a real bonus, lovely area with a fantastic view. We found the B and B so relaxing with Ian and Sara being very laid back, friendly and helpful. We will certainly return and for a longer stay. The breakfast was great, everything you could possibly want and the dinner again really lovely. We thought it was excellent value for money and anyone would be hard pushed to find better accommodation for the price. Thanks to Ian, Sara and their family and hope to return in the not too distant future.

“Return in a heartbeat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

We are a family of four, with two boys aged 11 and 13. Our visit was in early October 2011. We stayed in a two bedroom gite. Our stay was amazing and we enjoyed every moment of it. Le Chevrefeuille is in a great location being in the middle of so many towns. It was perfect for the kids with a swimming pool, free bike usage, out door area and a t.v with a wii. Had one of the best meals we have ever had, as prepared by Ian, the master chef. The B&B was very comfortable and quiet. I loved everything about it and will defiantly be coming back.

“An Exceptional B & B”

Through the wonderful reviews of Tripadvisor we stayed at Le Chevrefeuille for 5 nights - absolute bliss. Clean and comfortable room, breakfast of freshly baked rustic breads, croissants, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurt, juice, coffee, tea, fruit, and to return to Le Chevrefeuille at the end of a hectic day to peaceful surroundings was always something to look forward to. Ian's meals in the fresco dining area were some of the best around. We also appreciated the laundry facilities and the use of the literature in the reception area regarding the Dordogne area. Sara was the perfect hostess and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Ian and Sara for a wonderful start to our 5 week holiday in Europe. Sara the thermos of coffee on our departure was much appreciated.
