My girlfriend and I stayed here for three nights in September just after we got engaged. We couldn't have arrived in a nicer place after the busy city of beautiful Paris. The drive down took us about six hours (we took it easy and made a few stops along the way. You might drive here quicker than us).
Our room was very nice. The door opened up to a beautiful landscape view, which could easily have been one of the highlights if there weren't so many other great characteristics about this hotel. Although it did feel more like staying in an apartment as it did a hotel. Not to say that this was a bad thing. Lovely room!
We had homemade bread, jam and coffee for breakfast each morning, which was served up to us by the very friendly owner, Michelle. He was a fantastic help to us with everything. From booking restaurants, to suggesting cool places to visit.
Very clean and well kept gardens led down to the pool. We had the whole pool side to ourselves one of the days. Totally relaxing and chilled out! It was great!
I have difficulty walking sometimes, so I chose this hotel because our room was on ground level. It was ideal for me, but if you use a wheelchair, you might have difficulty with the shower as there was a step into it. I'm not sure if all the rooms have this step into the shower. There were two steps down to the pool area aswell. Apart from this, it was quite accessible. If you are a disabled traveler, it might be something to check with Michelle first though. If you can work around these few things, you'll enjoy your stay here.
Overall, great place, and I'll be recomending it to my friends. Quite rural, but that was perfect for us!
