We stayed at Hotel Kastelberg in 1988 and returned this year on a nostalgic tour of our trip way back when. It is a lovely inn in a very quiet town in Alsace. Andlau is a small wine town and it's close to the bigger tourist town of Barr (also a lovely spot). Don't expect modern furniture and sleek bathrooms. It's older and charming and is what you expect if you love the French country inns. It is very quiet and clean. The food is quite excellent and the prices are reasonable. The hosts are very warm and helpful, too.
