“Casino in need of rennovation”

This casino is a large room with slot machines. It is in need of a complete update. The chairs at the machines are uncomfortable and worn. It feels dirty. There is only one self serve station with pop only and no ice. The buffet has horrible food and we have been there several times. We did not stay at the hotel this time but have in the past. The rooms are OK but you hear noise outside your room. Not a pleasant place and we ended up leaving ahead.

We had the greatest stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Great all around. Casino was fun and food is excellent. The only downside to this casino/hotel is at night too many young people hanging in groups at the casino, i think the age limit should be 21 and up as you have drinking going on. Too many of the casino guest look under 18 but looks can be deceiving i guess? To easy for them to get ahold of a beer or drink. Cause people leave them sitting around.

“Great Resort & Casino”

We stayed there for one night ! Everything was great except the bathroom was not clean. We paid almost $200 for the night and to find hair all over the bathroom was very unacceptable.

“Just Average”

The rooms were ok. Compared to MGM-Detroit or Caesars-Windsor, very small. Dinner in the bar was pretty bad but others must like it as there was a line out the door. The breakfast buffet was actually very good. Comps were very generous and we were able to cash in quite a bit before we left.
One big negative, too many kids running around.

One big positive, all of the staff was very friendly.

“Great rooms and Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 November 2011

I went to Soaring Eagle Casino Resort in Mt. Pleasant Michigan from Nov. 6th to the 9th. 2011 and had a great time considering I was there for work.

The resort is very nice and modern with a native indian theme throughout the resort. My room was clean and had all I needed with wide screen TV/Satellite, fireplace and a steel bath tub (with brass and wood finishings) by the bed.

The food was great and you must try Isabella's. The service by all staff restaurant, house keeping to front desk was as good as you could expect.
My inroom keypad safe malfunctioned and I couldn't get at my valuables, I was in a hurry and called the front desk. It took them (including waiting time) only ten minutes to open it and I was on my way.

The resort obviously has a casino with as many machines you could ask for including all the table games. Drink prices at the casino are very reasonably priced.

The only negative thing I could find with this rssort was the cost of making a phone call from my room. I had to leave a minimum of $50.00 on my Visa card. Just for a one minute call to Oakville, Ontario
cost me $7.00 so beware of that.

Room Tip: Stay away from elevators and vending machines.
