I was a little nervous since this hotel is a little "off the beaten path" of most of the hotels in the Dearborn area. I was very pleasantly surprised with just how nice this Comfort Inn & Suites was. The whole place looks new and is well kept. I stayed in a King Suite, and the room was very large and modern. It was nice to have a separate sitting area just inside the door, with the bedroom area in the usual place. Having a supplied kitchen area was also helpful. Although I didn't use the stove, I did take advantage of the kitchen supplies.
The modern furniture wasn't what I would consider the most comfortable, but it was new & in good shape. Just not my taste. (See the pictures.) But the two flat-screen TVs were much appreciated. There were many extra features which made the place seem a little more classy, but still reasonably priced (bathroom scales, marble counters). And overall my impression was that the whole place is clean & well taken care of. Complimentary breakfast included the usual things including the waffle maker. My stay was mid-week, so it was very quiet and the breakfast room wasn't very busy.
There's not much to speak of in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but I went a couple of miles down the road for Chinese food (Canton Inn) which was very good. Overall I was very impressed with my stay for the price and would not hesitate to stay here again. Extra bonus for the room keys using proximity sensor key cards (no need to swipe the card), and windows that open. It's not first class, but is a nice place and a notch above most places for the money.
