The room rate with Priority Club points made our stay a good value for the Noquemanon race weekend. The hotel itself is fairly dated, but the rooms, beds and pool area were all clean. The bathroom is very small (so small that the door can barely swing open past the toilet to open fully. We had a room with two full-size beds, which were firm, but in good condition. The under-window heating units seem to be the same at every Holiday Inn at which I've stayed and you seem to get the same experience no matter what--either blast-furnace hot or freezing cold. There is no way to regulate one single temp for the room. We tend to like to keep the fan running at night to help provide white noise (and drown out the noise of Hwy 41 and idling snowmobiles in the parking lot), but that is difficult to do with their system.
If you're a Priority Club member, you get a free small breakfast every morning of your stay and a free drink in the lounge each night, if you desire. The food is average--about Denny's/Perkin's quality--but the service we had was quite good and our kids' meals were free, as advertised. The highlight of the hotel is the large, clean pool and spa area. The pool is just warm enough and quite large. Be aware, it is frequently used for parties, so it can get quite busy, especially on weekends, but is empty in the mornings and it opens early (7 a.m.). Front desk service was fast and pleasant here. I'd definitely recommend the hotel with the caveat that it is not a 'luxury' experience, but nicely suited for an inexpensive family weekend trip.
