Friendly and helpful front desk. Good location, pet friendly.

This was our first trek to the U.P. and our stay here was a positive one. Upon check in, we were advised of the discounts to near-by diners (10% off at Perkins and Hudsons) with our room key. We did not take advantage of this, but it is nice to have. There was some kind of pee-wee league staying at the hotel, so there was a little bit of noise (running, screaming, etc.) but most of it was drowned out with the room fan. The sink/vanity was seperate to the toilet and tub/shower, which I like. Our room was needing a few more electrical outlets, as all of them were used. Breakfast was more or less standard. Cold cerials, slightly off tasting juices, bad coffee, waffles, pastries, hard boiled eggs. If anything ran out, it was instantly refilled. The hotel had a good sized pool and a hot tub that we did not use, both were off of the main office. There are multiple diners, big box stores, and fast food joints within a short distance, as well as the down town. It was priced right with the pay ahead method. Check in and check out was a snap.

This was the second year in a row that my grandson and I spent at this Days Inn. This year my granddaughter wanted to come with. They especially loved the pool, breakfast and the play area outside. It's a very clean and friendly place to stay. The front desk was always very pleasant - when we walked by they smiled and said "hi." It was very nice to have fast and efficient check-in and check-out. We had minor problems with the TV but the front desk manager was quick to respond and took care of us. I was also impressed with the person handling the breakfast crowd. She was on top of everything - when something was low or out, she was right there to restock. We will definately be back!

My girlfriend and I decided to get out for the night. We found the days in to be very pleaseant. We were in a business king. It had two couches, a wonderful flat screen t.v. and the breakfast was nothing but the best as far as any days inn i've ever stayed at. I highly recomend staying at this extreamily clean establishment if are ever in town. But the best part by far was the employees. They always had a warm smile on there face willing to go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant.
