The Econo Lodge is our yearly home base for the Woodward Dream Cruise. We return year after year, six and counting. It's nothing special, never experienced bedbug bites like other travelers, close to decent restaurants, (Coney Island a must for breakfast, Outback and Applebee's for dinner). For the Cruisers, I have never hesitated about parking my classic at this place, nor have the other 75 plus people who stay here during the Cruise. There are also parts stores near by, for just in case emergencies. Don't expect a 5-star hotel for 30- 50 bucks a night. It is located in a relatively safe area and is fairly clean, with friendly staff, what more do you need? A basic continental breakfast and coffee are avaliable in the lobby. I have stayed in some sketchy hotels in Michigan, all in all, the Econo Lodge is a decent hotel. and I will continue to stay there.
