Room was clean and spacious, although the table/chair set seemed a little large for the space. Pool area was very nice, and the attached breakfast room was clean and bright. Standard included breakfast, although since there is staff to make hot waffles, brewed coffee would be nice instead of the machine :)
Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful.
Hotel is with-in walking distance of the "main drag" of the downtown tourist section but tucked on a quiet side street, no traffic noise.
Would stay again.

The room was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Have a free breakfast. The pool was great and our kids loved the outdoor playground. A great place that is a short distance from downtown Mackinaw City and the ferry boats to Mackinaw Island. Would definetely stay here again!

The room was very clean although the decorations and furniture was dated. There was a frig, ironing board, and WiFi which a lot of hotels can not provide. Who spends a lot of time in the room anyhow? When we complained that the shower was not draining it was promptly fixed and the next day we were not standing in water while showering. It is not a four star hotel but very adequate and we would stay here again.

We were very disappointed and shocked at the condition of this Best Western! The bed was old and the mattress at least 20 years old! The bedding was threadbare and washed out--the whole place just looked tired! For the price paid this room was a real shocker! We always got clean, nicely appointed rooms at Best Westerns, but not this time!! Complaining didn't help--they agreed with me! We stayed because we had to-no refund. We will ALWAYS remember this motel in one of our favorite vacation spots!!
