“Clean hotel with friendly service!”

We had not stayed at a Super 8 Motel for quite some time. Since this was the cheapest in the Monroe, MI area though we gave it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised to find a spotless room and a very helpful staff at the front desk.

We appreciated the fact that even for a budget motel they were willing to accomodate special requests and answer questions.

The breakfast was the Super Start PLUS Breakfast. This provides adequate goodies to get you started for the day. It included pastries, cereal, juice, coffee, toaster waffles, toast, etc.

When we visit the Monroe area again we will definitely stay at the Super 8 in Luna Pier.

“Lack of customer service”

After staying one night at this motel, I left a small item in the room. Upon arriving home I called and asked that it please be mailed back to me. The total cost would have been two stamps and an envelope. They said no way, only can be sent COD. In addition, the place had a very strange look and smell in the lobby, however, the rooms were clean and the decorating at least matched there. Many weeds were in the beds outside and garbage piled here right at the front door. I'll not go back.
