The Washtenaw Ski Touring Club had the distinct pleasure of visiting Jane and Bill's wonderful B and B. We enjoyed their company and hospitality, their sweet dog, Maggie and their incredible breakfasts.
We did not get to ski, no snow, however we hiked in glorious sunshine.
This is a great place to stay.
Lake Michigan shoreline is clean and beautiful.

Bill and Jane provided warmth and hospitality on our winter getaway weekend "up north." The food was delicious and wonderfully and artfully served. The bedrooms are quiet and large. This beautiful and historic Victorian home is perfect for the Ludington / west Michigan area, a wonderful place to explore in fall, winter or summer. The B&B is ideally situated for exploring the areas in this part of Michigan.

The Carpenters didn't build this house,
But they did build the reputation

On a weekend get-away, short day-trip,

The Lamplighter is an excellent B&B! Bill and Jane were so gracious and provided our family with such a warm and friendly stay. Breakfasts were definitely gourmet. We were spoiled for sure. My husband now expects this every morning after we get home...not! Of course Maggie added an extra amount of love that was special as well. The Lamplighter is spotlessly clean, so highly recommend it when in the Luddington area. We would love to go back as we all feel like we have made new friends - thank you Jane and Bill :)
