“Abbey Lynn Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

We were given a free night at Abbey Lynn Inn on Veterans Day, as Les, my husband, is a WWII veteran. We enjoyed it very much. The room was attractive, and the bed was comfortable. We found our hosts to be very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful, and there were little touches like chocolates on the pillow at night, and cookies and drinks available all the time. It was a chilly evening, so we enjoyed the electric fireplace in our room. We have stayed in several B&Bs in U.S. and Canada, and thought this was one of the most attractive we have been to.
Les and Gerri Shoemaker, Grand Rapids Michigan

Room Tip: We were on the first floor, which was very convenient. We didn't see the other rooms.

“Relaxing and enjoyable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2011

We recently spent a weekend with Bill and Judy, hosts of the Abbey Lynn. Our room was wonderful, the bed was very comfortable. Judy is a terrific cook, breakfast was very generous! We enjoyed talking with our hosts about their home and family and met some some people along the way. Why we don't stay at B and B's more often we asked ourselves over and over all weekend. After this stay we will seek them out before hotels! Thanks Bill and Judy, we are planning a trip back when the weather turns warm.

“Relaxing and wonderful breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2011

We took the ferry to Ludington and spent the night at the Abbey Lynn. The house is nicely decorated and the room was pleasant. The location is excellent in that it is easy walking distance to several restaurants. We ate at Luciano's and had a wonderful authentic italian dinner. The bed was comfortable and we sleep very well. The breakfast was the real wow factor, homemade everything, from the wonderful bread to the quiche. We left satisfied and felt the Abbey Lynn was a real bargain.

“Beautiful and relaxing - highly recommended”

A wonderful B&B stay - thank you! We were hoping for a quiet, relaxing weekend and the Abbey Lynn worked out perfectly (sometimes you can't get a private feeling at a B&B - not the case here). We stayed in the Lacy Jo room (all rooms are named after grand daughters and are decorated to reflect their personalities). It was interesting to hear some of the history and back story from Judy and Courtney. There are a number of B&B's along Ludington Ave - all within walking distance to town. I can't comment on the others, but we noted while driving by that this visually was very well kept up, and the inside was equally nice. It makes sense for the price, experience and comfort it is #1 on Trip Advisor. Notes:

- _Fantastic_ breakfasts
- Movies/Books available
- Cookies/Tea/Coffee available all day and evening
- Sitting areas in house and yard

In town, I would recommend the "Best Choice" market in town for speciality food/drink items. Had very good food at the Blu Moon, but the eclectic style may not be for everyone - more "modern". Redolencia had a nice vibe as a coffeeshop in town.

“This is the real deal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2011

This is the real deal for a B & B if you have never stayed at a B & B. My wife Terri and I stayed here for 2 nights although we had wanted to stay for 4 but only could get 2 as the other 2 nights were already booked when we booked in March. The food is just great and Bill and judy are very friendly as well as their daughter who was helping for the summer. My wife came to Ludington via the carferry and we will definetly come back and stay again at the Abbey Lynn Inn. The rooms are beautiful, clean and feel like you are right at home. The outside gardens with all the flowers are just breathtaking along with the gazebo.
