A renovation in the not too distant past left this place improved, but weirdly laid out. Overall the place is nice and seemed clean, they had sleep number beds, but as you can expect with hundreds of people playing with the controls every night, the beds just can not hold up to the abuse, the handsets did not work, the read outs displayed gibberish and it was hard to get the bed to a normal level (not over inflated/not soggy) to just go to sleep. Sometimes the bed would inflate, sometimes you has to mess with it, pressing buttons randomly then finally it would again respond. The instructions were for a bed that has two different sides so each person can have his/her own setting, but the bed was the model that has only one setting for the whole bed. The location is convenient to a lot of things and there is a mall next door, which is nice, along with several fast food places to eat including Red Robin and Bar Louie. We did a take out with Bar Louie, they really botched our order, plus it took forever, amazingly they apologized, comped the food and it was excellent food despite the challenges. Good Job. We never saw a maid, nor did we receive maid service, we stayed for three days and two nights. The pool area is nice, with a whirlpool, it seems like in a previous life the pool was outside. They also added a small workout room with was more than adequate. Breakfast was OK, nothing special, but all we normally eat is cereal in order to get in/get out. Not sure this place would be at the top of our list if we ever have a need to return.
