“Thers is two sides to this Hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2011

I have stayed here before and have always stayed in what is considered the remodeled part of this hotel. This time, I was given a room on the non-updated part and experienced a not-so –nice stay. Everything was made right. The room had a very nice view if the river across the street where the remodeled rooms I have stayed in did not. I attended a four day conference and the conference rooms were nice and the meals were good. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: If updated decor is important to you, ask to stay in a remodeled room. Otherwise you may be disappoi...

“Surprisingly Good - Nice Choice When Visiting Lansing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

I don't normally stay at Radisson properties, mainly because they are usually not in places I go or affordable for my company's budget. But I did get a chance to spend a night here and I was completely surprised - in a very good way - at how nice this one really is!

The hotel looks a bit old from the outside, but the rooms are actually very nice, modern, clean, cheery and relaxing. Reminds me of a good Marriott. And the sleep number bed was great too!

Location was convenient to the capitol (could see it a couple blocks away from my room) and was quiet at night, no traffic noise - downtown Lansing does get quiet on weeknights after about 6 p.m.

Excellent friendly, professional and helpful staff, from the front desk managers to the concierge, bellman and restaurant staff.

Overall, solid experience and I would come back here.

“Best location in Lansing!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

We selected the Radisson based on its reviews and location. We were not disappointed. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we had sleep # beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast in the restaurant, $13 for a hot buffet. The hotel is close to several restaurants, bars, and shopping which are in walking distance. The state capital is two blocks to the west. We went for a weekend for a MSU football game. Spartan Stadium is less than 10 minutes away. I strongly recommend using the public transit. They provide an "Entertainment" trolley on the weekends that makes loops from DT Lansing to DT East Lansing from 7:30pm-3am with several stops along the way. You can buy $10 worth of one-way fares at the local bus terminal just down the street. We used a cab once and it cost $13 to get to DT East Lansing from the Radisson, the $10 pass will last you all weekend. There are 3 bus/trolley stops right next to the hotel, save yourself some money. They offer $14/day valet parking. We found there is free parking on the same block as the hotel on weekends. Whether it's business or pleasure, I would definitely stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms that face east offer a nice view. Ask for an updated room if available...they are finishing t...

“Fits the bill”

This hotel has a lot going for it, great location, awesome views, comfortable rooms, a real gym and swimming pool, good service but totally lacks charm and personality. The only big issue I had was with the wifi which was extremely slow or not working at all - I needed to work for 1/2 hour one night and spent 2 hours scrambling because of the connection. Hope they resolved this...
