“Awesome staff, great hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2011

The desk staff could not have been more wonderful. We had pizzas delivered for our group, and when the desk clerk noticed me waiting in the lobby for it, she volunteered to come to the pool area to tell me when it arrived, so I could go back to the family. She then suggested we set up and eat our dinner in the spacious breakfast area.
Our room was SPOTLESS, and had everything you could need, including a fridge and micro. The entire hotel was really well maintained, you could tell it was just built a short time ago.

“When in Lansing, stay at Springhill Suites”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 August 2011

We absolutely loved this place! We were in the area for a family reunion and being unfamilar with the Lansing area we searched for hotels based on price, ammenities, and distance from destination. The Springhill Suites were one of the least expensive hotels in the area. The rooms included a small refrigerator and microwave with cupboards and a sink area that allowed us to save on having to eat every meal out. We didn't realize until our last day that there was a gas grill that we could have used as well. A hot breakfast buffet was included and there were cookies/lollipops set out during the day. The pool area was on the small side, but adequate for the amount of time we actually spent at the hotel. The fitness room was very small but the hotel has a deal with a local gym for those people that needed more. The hotel is located within walking distance of a number of restaurants and shops but at the same time is set back from the main thoroughfare. The area itself is undergoing some major roadwork so it made getting around a little tricky, but all in all not a major issue. The staff were very friendly and everything was clean. We would definitely stay here again and will look for Springhill suites when we travel to other destinations.

“Met all my expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

On short notice, and a limited budget, this hotel was the perfect fit. It was clean, quiet, secure, well-appointed, and the staff was courteous and efficient. One caution: My GPS didn't recognize the address, so I got turned around a few times trying to find it. But when I entered "Marketplace" as one word, it took me right there. But I don't fault the hotel for this. GPS is such a work in progress.

“Not good. Not bad.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 May 2011

This is your typical SpringHill Suites.

Cons: The walls/floors seem thin (you can hear neighbors as well as those above and below you). The one t.v. is placed between the bedroom and the sitting room parts of the "suite".

Pros: It's very reasonable. It was very clean. The free breakfast is quite hearty.

“Good Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2010

My daughter attended a gymnastics camp at Twistars and we stayed there for four nights. The rooms were spacious although there is only one tv in the room that you can swivel so you can see it in either room. The breakfast was good and I was able to take enough from breakfast to use for daughter and I for lunch. The mini fridge and microwave were nice, there is no freezer in the fridge. Cookies were put out in the late afteroon and there were always apples and oranges in the lobby. There was a small shop where you could buy ice cream and snacks. The hotel is right off of Saginaw which is a major road that has everything on it. We ate at a family owned restaruant called Rudinos that is right up the street from the hotel that was pretty good. We also ate at Carrabas and Red Robin which were both on Saginaw that were also fine. The pool was small but was sufficient for my daughter and her friend.
