This hotel is in a sketchy area off of the freeway behind a body shop. It is a one story building with bars covering the windows for "decorative purposes." There is a strong musty smell in the rooms. The rooms are very old and outdated. We found spiders in each of the room corners. There was a big hole in the wall, partially repaired. The windows, door, and wall were dirty. We ended up checking out shortly after we arrived. It is very low quality, even for EconoLodge standards.

A former Knight's Inn that has been rebranded, this motel is average at best. The best rate you'll get is likely $50/night, which is all right, but the place is nothing special, nor exceptionally cheap for the area. It does have an outdoor pool, and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast is simple, but pretty good. If you have business in south Lansing, go for it.

Well, I was kept awake by the slamming of car doors throughout the night.

The icing on the cake came when at 4:15 AM I was awoken by the patter of prostitute heels running by my window.

Ahh Econo Lodge!

Carpet not swept.Dingy walls.Broken crack pipe on bathroom floor.Maybe it has improved since I was there,but I would not go back.This was two years ago.
