As a Hilton Honors member I usually do not stay at Marriott, but got our room on Priceline. The Marriott was a disappointment: worn furniture, stained upholstery, very small room, meager 27" t.v. & no pay per view movies offered, a nice feature staying in Grand Rapids on a Sun. night in the winter. Breakfast is not included.

I have stayed at the nearby Hilton which is right down the road. Although I can't rave about the Hilton if you have to choose between the two hotels, the Hilton offers very nice sized rooms that are well maintained, flat screen tv's and upgraded bedding.

I won't choose a Marriott again based on this stay.

This staff, pool, and breakfast are great at this Courtyard. The gym and the "business center" are ok. The rooms can be loud when there is noise in the halls or near-by rooms, but I was never awoken because of it. The location is great in that there are many restaurants in the immediate area.

Hotel is not fancy, but is clean, comfortable and well managed. Staff was friendly and attentive to any issues. Booked through travel agency that promised us breakfast (included). Hotel did not agree to this with agency. They did follow through with what booking agency promised. Rooms were clean and comfortable - nothing fancy, nothing bad. Pool was great in that it was open 24/7 and kids not allowed after 10:00 PM. Nice to have adult time without kids screaming and splashing. Excercise room was very nice and well equipped. Shopping and food was only a short drive away. Overall this was a nice stay.
