Pretty much a standard Hampton Inn. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Standard breakfast items, waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc. Good hot coffee seemed to be always available. Beds OK but the fitted sheet kept coming off of ours in the night.

Basic Hampton Inn clean, convenient and a good value for U of M football weekend. They just have a small pool, not hot tub. The free breakfast is standard fare, adequate seating. The staff is always friendly.

I stayed over night for a work trip and this is when I fell in love with the hampton inn. The staff as soon as we checked in were very friendly and helpful. I had forgot some bathroom supplies and they were more than helpfull at getting me the things I forgot. I got to my room and laid down in the bed thinking it would be only for a min but the beds were so comfy that took an hour long nap before work. It was very late by the time I got back from work and some of my co-workers and I wanted to stay up and hang out for a little bit. The front desk lady had no problem with us sitting in the breakfast area. At one point the lady at the front desk came out and talked to us for a bit. I almost missed my check out time due to the beds being to comfy. This is the only time I was glas housekeeping came knocking at my door. The only bad thing that I can think of is that the ac in my bosses room caught fire as soon as she turned it on but the staff was right on it to get it fixed. All in all this was a great stay.

I really appreciated the call from the front desk shortly after check-in asking if everything in my room was OK. Aside from the service, everything at this Hampton is very average. The property is on the older side and the room showed it in a few spots, but everything was functional. I was impressed that they added a splitter to the alarm clock outlet so I could plug in my laptop without having to unplug the lamp or the alarm clock. The beds and pillows were not terrible, but not great either.

Oddly, housekeeping took some towels away the first day that never reappeared. I think the biggest thing a property like this could do to improve my experience is to make sure there is some sort of meat at breakfast each day. Throughout the week I kept seeing eggs mixed with little bits of meat, but I like to be able to have a few pieces of bacon, or sausages, or ham that are not attached to any egg product.

Also (from a colleague): room 308 is directly under a HVAC unit on the roof, so you will hear the unit vibrating any time they turn on the lobby AC.
