It was a little disconcerting to be asked to sign a "No Noise" pledge when I checked in. It was a one pager with a list of things which I promised not to do, on pain of a penalty. I asked the receptionist if they had a problem with noise & she replied, pointing to the pledge: "Not any more". While I'm sure the pledge eliminates the worst excesses of noise, it doesn't eliminate the lower level - but nevertheless annoying - stuff, banging doors, noise in corridors etc. We didn't suffer any problems during our one night stay, even though there was a school team staying also. Just a little corridor noise. Says something though about the clientele that they need to have the pledge - though its also an effective solution.
The hotel itself was clean. Breakfast was OK with a hot buffet of eggs & sausage.
