Super 8 may want to have their name de-listed from this property. It is run by a franchisee and it's pretty questionable that the current owner is doing Super 8 any favors if my stay was any indication.

This started with a key that wouldn't work for entry into the room. I also mentioned to the desk clerk that there was a do not disturb sign in the door to that room. The clerk tried to assign a new key (4 times), then went to the room with me and sure enough, a guest already assigned to that room. (Woken up in the middle of her night!)

Back to the desk and another room assigned. Key working fine this time. Pull down the bed sheets and there is a big, blood stain in the middle of the sheet. Look a little closer at the sheets and small hairs visible. A sure sign they are not cleaning the rooms thoroughly after each guest departs.

Plumbing and electrical functions fine but the wash cloths were so threadbare you could see though them.

I wasn't expecting much from one of the cheaper options in this section of the interstate and I can also almost forgive the mix-up with the occupied room. Mistakes do happen. But cleanliness is my minimum requirement and this place is cutting way too many corners! Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
