Our youth softball team/families stayed at this hotel while in town for a tournament. Even though we booked a group/block of rooms, they were scattered about the hotel, not next to each other. Rooms were a little musty smelling and outdated, but seemed clean. It was in a very deserted part of town so we questioned the safety of the area, but it turned out fine. The staff was very friendly and put up with our group of loud, anxious, kids quite well!! They were very accommodating and allowed us to have a pizza party in the lobby and the parents stayed up late having a few drinks in the lobby and they really didn't say much about the whole thing although the area was very small. The outdoor pool was clean and the kids had fun, but parents were not too happy that the hot tub wasn't functional. It served our purpose, but rooms are desperately in need of remodeling I would say!

Me, my husband & young daughter stayed here on the way to Northern Michigan. The only complaint I would have of this property is the location. Most of the businesses in this area were out of business - but it is convenientyly located to get back on the road & lots of shopping areas still available in a town that seems to be slowly fading. The staff was friendly, the pool area was clean, the rooms were clean & the continental breakfast was perfect. I work in the hospitality industry & I would greatly recommend this property or stay here again if we were ever in the area again.

I have stayed in many Comfort Inns and was disappointed in this one. The rooms were clean but very dated. We were in a smoking room and there were burn marks on the sofa and chair. The grout in the bathroom was turning black. There were no ashtrays. I had an emergency call that a friend of mine's father died and there was a pen or piece of paper in the room so I could write down information. The towels were very stiff and rough on the body. Like I said, I have stayed in many Comfort Inns and this one was at the bottom of the list. I will not return again.

Very convenient right on US31, short drive to downtown Holland, Saugatuck, and other nearby attractions. The place is generally not crowded.

Clean, well managed. Rooms are a bit dated with not enough electrical outlets and no wired internet. High speed wireless is sufficiently fast.

Staff is eager to please, parking abundant, adjacent to a nice residential area for walking and overall quiet.
