This hotel is a nice in-between to stay and visit with my family that lives nearby. We were looking forward to doing our usual "pizza by the pool" and have my two sisters come for a swim with my kids. However, this hotel failed to mention during booking or on their website that they do not allow guests into the pool area (not just the pool itself, the whole common area - nearby tables, pool table, game room, etc.). They supply you with bracelets for the amount of people registered to your room. And they patrol the pool to be sure only those with bracelets are swimming. However, the night we were there, other adults gave their bracelet to visiting children, leaving all children in the pool area with no adult supervision. There were older children pushing, splashing and using fould language. I was VERY disappointed in hotel staff for being so concerned about guests using the pool that they disregarded safety and pleasure of registered guests. Also, keep in mind, my stay was in January - the hotel was not near full occupancy where this bracelet rule might be necessary in other, busier months.
My family will return to the GR area often to stay at hotels and visit with family - maybe 6 times/year. We will never stay at this hotel again. Would much prefer one where we are allowed to enjoy the amenities we're paying extra for.
