We had stayed at this hotel MANY times when it was a Best Western and were very disappointed with our stay in July 2011. First, upon check in, there was a giant dead bug on the bathroom floor, the complimentary shampoo bottle obviously hadn't been picked up in weeks because when I went to use it, there was crud caked on the bottom and on the counter. My daughter found a hair in her bed (gross!) and the AC made a terrible noise. After our two night stay, I asked if we could check out 30 minutes later and was denied that request. Really? 30 minutes? But, what really irked me was on their website, they advertised if you stayed with them two nights in July or August, you'd receive a free $20 gas card. So, when I checked out and asked for it, I was told because I didn't mention it when MAKING my reservation, I wasn't eligible. It said NOTHING on their website about having to request it ahead of time and they claimed they didn't have any on the premises because they "order" them when you make your reservation. This deal was actually what had convinced me to stay there and then they wouldn't honor it? Just seemed a little fishy to me. Management wouldn't even come talk to me and made their front desk people (who were very polite and nice) do their dirty work. The whole stay just left a bad feeling and not sure I'll return if this is how they treat their customers.
