Got this hotel for 2 nights through Priceline, by bidding on 2-star hotels...
We found the room to be clean and nice; well decorated. Good choise with breakfast, very nice staff. Compared with the avarage other 2-star hotels, we found this to be a pleasant surprise!

I hadn't stayed in a Fairfield Inn in years. I typically chose Hilton properties. However, a friend familiar with the area made our reservations.

The hotel has a little age on it, but it appears to be clean. I concur with the noise issue. I am a strong believer that hotel floors should be seperated by concrete, this one isn't. I had a top floor, so I was not bothered by it, but I did find myself walking on my tip-toes to keep from disturbing those below. Any movement seemed to generate a bounce creating a noise.

Beds we comfortable, an assortment of pillows were provided, room HVAC worked well and the cigarette smoke present in the hall never migrated to our room.

All in all, good for 1 or 2 nights.

On a side net, our wallpaper in the bathroom had been hung upside-down.

A real no frills hotel. No gym, complimentary breakfast is okay. The surrounding area is pretty bland, a lot of chain restaurants and mall type stores. Okay for a one-night stay, any more would be too much.

It was so hot and static that everytime you opened or touched anything-zap! Tried to cool the room with air-didn't really help. So, didn't get much sleep and was noicy until finally midnight!
